Shree Venkataramana Devasthana
Legacy & Tradition

History & About

Tracing our roots from the ancient traditions of the Goud Saraswat Brahmin community to our present home in Bengaluru.

Our Roots

Shree Venkataramana Devasthana, located in Shree Ananthnagar, Bengaluru, stands as a beacon of spiritual solace and cultural heritage for the Goud Saraswat Brahmin (GSB) community and all devotees of Lord Venkataramana.

The temple's journey is one of faith and community resilience. It was established with the vision of providing a sacred space for the community to maintain their religious practices and foster unity.

Our Deities

The temple is dedicated to Lord Venkataramana, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Lord Venkataramana is revered as the protector and the granter of boons, drawing thousands of devotees who seek his divine grace.

The sanctum sanctorum houses beautifully carved idols of the Lord along with the parivar devatas, including Lord Hanuman, Lord Ganapathi, and others, each radiating divine grace and peace.

Community & Samaj

Beyond being a place of worship, the temple serves as a vibrant community center. Under the spiritual guidance of the Shree Kashi Math Samsthan, the temple hosts various religious, cultural, and social activities throughout the year.

It serves as a platform for the preservation of GSB culture, language (Konkani), and traditions, fostering a sense of unity and spiritual growth among the followers.

"In every chant, in every ritual, and in every seva, we find the divine connection that binds our community together across generations."
